POEM SECRET MENU: “Healing Poem” I was prompted to write this intuitive healing poem for someone who wasn’t in front of me. My customer wanted a poem for her friend that has a lot of emotional wounds and could use some comforting words. After I read it, she was stunned that I intuitively picked up on the toy motif. Her friend once told her a story about not feeling worthy of nice and brand new toys when he was younger. There were tears! I sincerely hope this will help him in his healing journey.

Happy Friday! Going through my camera roll and loving this particular one I wrote last 8/2. I get excited when people give me “Poet’s Choice” as a prompt. I ask for a word or a theme, take it by its tiny hand, and gallivant through the sunflower fields with it. Then I return it to its caretaker as a fully grown poem with worldly responsibilities and a mortgage. 🫶
